Coaching

“I came to realize that life lived to help others is the only one that matters. This is my highest and best use as a human.” ~Ben Stein~

Being one’s best is the highest order of evolution but to get there is often difficult without help. We offer a range of coaching services. From personal and executive coaching to creating coaching cultures within organizations, we create supportive cross-disciplinary, multi-layered open communication that enhances work ethics and performance. Our founder is best known for his highly-individuated success model of coaching that works well amidst multifarious applications: business processes; relationship healing and creation; personal goal setting and manifestation; fiscal re-visioning; potential actualization among others. His most prolific work is in two seemingly distinct but intricately interconnected fields: relationship coaching, which he applies with equal aplomb to people with both their interpersonal and intimate relationships; and his enlightenment coaching, through which he helps people understand that we each and all come here with gifts to offer forth and with a set of lessons we need to learn while here–from that basis, he helps people see both what their strengths are and how to utilize them, and what lessons they may be struggling with and how to overcome them.

Group Dynamics is a complex study in how people interact in groups, how they respond and react to each other; and how the various styles of leadership within an organization affect (both positively and negatively) the various people within an organization. In this manner organizations truly are organisms, that need to be both analyzed and ‘treated’ both systemically and systematically.

Through several methodologies, we help both individuals and communities understand how their individual and collective conscious and unconscious motivations, judgments, and expectations affect (both by enhancing and by thwarting) their efforts to accomplish even the simplest of tasks or goals. This is a powerful process that changes errant behaviors within organizations and helps the people within the groups better communicate and understand not only themselves and each other but the dynamics of their community as well.

Leadership Training

Most leaders come into their positions because of superior work performance. Seldom do these high-performers bring with them any theoretical understandings of how to actually lead. And, as the above quote states, there is a distinct difference between leadership and management.

At HPT Consultants, we have simple, easy-to-implement leadership and management technologies that will get leaders setting vision and commanding with confidence, managers delegating effectively, and teams efficiently moving in productive directions.

At HPT Consultants we teach leading-edge theoretical frameworks that embrace both our individual and our collective strengths and perceived weaknesses. From that comprehensive understanding, we help teams congeal by integrating these theoretical understandings by utilizing interactive experiential learning modalities that help all members of a team not only accurately assess their strengths but also see, feel, understand, and accept their frailties, weaknesses, and imperfections and in so doing both honor and forgive others for theirs.

We often do this in a very loving and supportive environment of games–friendly competition with no winners except the whole accepting themselves and each other. By helping people see, feel, and understand that we are all gifted at some things and ineffectual at others, we begin to make room for others ineffectual-ness and support each others strengths in new and dynamic ways. Through this process, we enhance communication and performance within teams in profound ways that positively affect both individual and team performance.

Team Building

“Learning how to live with other human beings is one of the grand, classic problems of human be-ing. Most of us “tolerate” each other by identifying with and seeking out those with whom we share strengths; most of the time, we ignore or avoid those whose strong points are not ours. [However], human beings connect with each other most healingly, most healthily, not on the basis of common strengths, but in the very reality of their shared weaknesses. [. . .] Shared weakness: the shared honesty of mutual vulnerability openly acknowledged. That’s where we connect. At the most fundamental level of our very human-ness, it is our weakness that makes us alike; it is our strengths that make us different. Acknowledging shared weakness thus creates a rooted connectedness, a sense of common beginnings. We will grow in our different directions, with our different strengths, but our roots remain in the same soil as everyone else’s–the earthly humus of our own imperfection.” ~The Spirituality of Imperfection~
